  1. An elk is a large DEER mainly inhabiting 
  2. Northern Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, and North 
  3. America, where it is known as a MOOSE. It 
  4. is brown in colour, stands about 2m (6ft) at 
  5. the shoulders, has very large palmate 
  6. antlers, a fleshy muzzle, short neck, and 
  7. long legs.
